Today was a very interesting day!! Today we were allowed to have a denim day in the college. It was our spirit day and we had college games in the evening. FBC played the highschool in basketball and then they played the FBC staff in basketball. It was very fun. Kirstein, Caroline, and I made t-shirts that each held a different letter of our college. I had the "F", Kirstein had the "B" and Caroline had the "C". We were the best cheerleeders ever!! The games were both very intense. We beat the highschoolers, but the staff totally beasted the college guys. Dr. Shumate made the first hoop!! We had one of the most fun times of all FBC activities. The girls even had a chance because at half time he called girls to come up and play knockout. It was a good day, but Carter got his foot hurt while trying to knock the ball from Bro. Ferguson which he did succesfully. The night was awesome. But I have homework to get to now, so I must go.

Saturday.....

Yesterday, Kirstein and I went to a teacher conference that is held yearly for those working in the daycare. I am not working in the daycare, but I plan to this summer Lord willing. It was our first time going to one of these things, and it was very interesting. It was done at a Baptist church, but I could tell they did not have all of the same doctrines as us. But it was a long Saturday. We left at eight and came back around two. Overall it was ok, just a long day. This is a picture of us waiting for the next session to start. We made a run to MCDs when there was a break. I got a caramel frappe to wake me up...lol..
Anyways then I went to work...and made some money...

Senior- What ALREADY?
God's Grace is Sufficient
When I think about how much GOd has done in my life, I sit back and wonder why. God has truly always been there every step of the way. I ponder about how fast my life slip right on by. James 4:14 says Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow, for your life is but a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. God has been so good to me. Im getting to ready to do my devotions tonight, and I wonder what God has in store for me. Every night as I open my Bible, it is so awesome to see that God has something special in there just for me!! Yesterday I was amazed- I found a verse in Psalms that God convicted me about forgiving and the benefits of it. It was so awesome to find that because I was struggling with that sin yesterday and all week long. Today as I went to a teacher's conference, I got my heart right with God. It is so easy sometimes to just keep taking back what you have promised God He can have. It is always easy for me to do, and I find myself weeping over my foolishness. God in His infinite wisdom is so awesome and faithful to me. I thank God so much every day for saving me from a life of agony and misery.
God's grace is sufficient every single hour of every single day. And his love is abundant and free. Thank- you so much God for saving my soul and promising a mansion in heaven someday for me. :)
God is good.

God's been Good!!!

So we have finally started college again. I finally have made it to my senior year!! Yay.....I'm so excited!!
Yes, I realize I haven't written on my blog in like three months...wow that is a longggg time...lol..but once again, time slipped by me. I am not very good at keeping a blog.
God's been good though. This summer has been a little rough, but God is faithful. :) He never stops loving His children.
I am thankful to start a new year with new friends!!!
This is me and Debbie at the mall the other day. We went to study, but got sidetracked. Kyle, Debbie, Melissa, and I walked around and looked at different stores. I got a phonecall from a friend telling me that he won his fifth grader to the Lord!! There's no better news than to hear that the angels are now rejoicing over a new born Christian!!! God is soooo good!!!
My coworker got saved a few weeks ago!! This past Thursday she got baptized!!! God is soooo good!! It is so wonderful to see what God can do. I have been on cloud 9 the past few weeks...just because all that God is doing!
We are now into our fall campaign, and it is awesome to hear Pastor Pirt's messages on getting a burden. With God all things are possible!!
Well, I got to get going, but God has a purpose for everything He sends our way, and instead of getting bitter and angry, we need to turn our lemons into lemonade!!!

Drive thru time @ SNS.....

So it is summer....summer means rest and relaxation right? WRONG...lol...a time to get extra hours and work yourself to death!! LOL... working at sns is awesome lol...I really do enjoy working. But I just don't like the getting ready part...hahaha. Today I woke up at 5:50 to get ready...I was ready to turn the snooze on and sleep another five hours, but work had to get accomplished somehow. So I slowly rolled out of bed and got off the bunkbed. In no time at all I was on my way to Dunkin Donuts to get a iced coffee to stay awake...
I love opening because I get to set the store up and make it all pretty. I opened with Melissa-she's sooo sweet, but I felt bad for her cause she burned her hand three times on the Baked Beans-putting them in the oven and taking them out. :(
Ok i am not pyscho and don't just put random pics on my blog...I know you're all wondering why this pic is here. This is our drive thru clock. It was awesome today, thanks to Melissa and Kyle. They did a great job keeping our drive thru where it ought to be!!! Hopefully our DM is happy for the results.. Good day overall....I feel like SNS is my home ....I work there more than I am at home. I left the house @ 6:30 and got back @6 p.m.... God is good though, and Im so thankful for the hours. God knows all the bills that I have... I;m so thankful that God knows exactly all our needs and takes care of each one of them.
Well, I am going to start work on my Thesis.... thats where I'll be if you need me. :)

You Never Know What Your Day is Going to Be Like

Ya....ya..I know its a picture of my license, but you have to hear the story first!
Ok so it started out to be a wonderful day! I was heading to Busch Gardens with Debbie and Kirstein and some other wonderful people. But you know the verse that says, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth,? Well I got to learn to apply that to my life today. (over and over again) We never know what our day is going to bring.
I woke up with great plans for the day. I took a shower, put on my makeup, put an updoo with my hair, and put on some culottes and a t-shirt! :) We were not supposed to leave until two-thirty, so I decided to go to the bank and Walmart. So I went into my room and got out my money to count it before heading to the bank(I'm a waitress so I always have 'ones' to count). I decided to clean out my purse too. While I was cleaning out my purse, I realized I didn't have something very important in my wallet. I checked and re-checked my wallet and then dumped everything out of my purse. I ran my hands through the paper wads and realized I was in huge trouble! My Driver's License was M-I-S-S-I-N-G!!
I rechecked through everything but could not find it. Finally I knew I had to get a new one. Soooooo I got my mother, informed her of the situation, and before long we were off to the Tax Collector's Office. When I went to get my ticket I showed her what I had and she told me that since I didnt have my Social Security card I had to have a W-2 form. So I went back with my mom to my house to get it. We got that and came back....finally after a thrity minute wait I got in line andwas informed that we were still missing a bill for my current address. By now I was sooo discourgaed and down in the dumps cause Debbie and Kirstein had just left. But my mom was a great encourager and she ran home got the last piece of "proof" and we came and after a twenty minute wait we were helped. The lady told us that the two pieces I had brough originally were enough proof. I was like,"really"?
Long story short- I misssed going out to BuschGardens cause I had to get another license. I was not a happy camper. I cried all the way home. But then I realized, my worst day as a Christian is nothing compared to an unbeliever's best day. God is GOOD!!
